An up-to-date browser is a good defense against viruses and malware because newer browsers have security features that older browsers do not. New versions of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are free to download and use. If you still use Internet Explorer 7 or 8, consider upgrading for better speed and security. New browsers offer regular updates as well as support for newer technologies that make browsing the web more enjoyable.
